James is principal and founder of NEST. With over 20 years of experience in construction in Seattle James brings his knowledge and expertise to every step and aspect of the project he’s lucky to work on. James established this company with the goal of offering a holistic experience for clients while delivering exceptional outcomes.

A native to Washington, James came of age in the Methow Valley and Seattle, he understands the climate and the culture of the area, and has been obsessed with buildings his whole life.

As a graduate of the New School in NYC, James questions convention and creates solutions, and always aims to foster positive change.

James lives in and has a design office in Seattle’s beautiful Rainer Valley.
